1. Information We Collect

We collect the personal information you provide when you register for and use the Service, including:

• Your name and the email address provided at registration;
• Account and subscription details, including your selected plan and renewal dates;
• Records of the alerts and summaries delivered to you and related communications;
• Limited payment-related information necessary to administer your subscription (note that full card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us — see Section 3).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to activate and deliver your subscription, to send you the alerts and summaries you have subscribed to, to process recurring payments through our payment processor, to provide customer support, to manage refund and cancellation requests, and to comply with our legal obligations.

3. Payment Information and Third-Party Processing

Card payments are processed on our behalf by Stitch Express, our third-party payment processor. We do not process card payments ourselves.

• Card details are entered by you directly on Stitch Express’s secure site, and are protected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
• No card details are stored on The Vault’s website or servers.
• Your customer details are stored by The Vault separately from your card details.

Stitch Express processes your payment information as a third party in accordance with its own privacy and security practices, set out in Stitch Express’s Terms & Conditions, available at https://stitch.money/express-legal/terms-and-conditions.

4. Other Third Parties and Data Sources

Our services rely on market data sourced from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and distributed via Sharenet (Pty) Ltd, and are hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure. These arrangements relate to the delivery of market data and the operation of the platform; we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We take all reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the personal information in our control against loss, unauthorised access, and misuse. Payment card processing is delegated to Stitch Express, which applies SSL encryption and industry payment-security standards, and card data is never stored on our systems.

6. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to provide the Service, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and to resolve disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights Under POPIA

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of that information, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. 8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice by email or by posting a notice on our website. The latest version is always available from the footer of our website.
