1.2 The Service is designed to improve the accessibility and readability of publicly disclosed information. It does not create, generate, or imply any original financial insight beyond what is contained in the underlying public disclosures.

1.3 The Service may also include share price data, links to charts, and market data sourced from licensed third-party data providers. Such data is provided for informational context only.

2. Not Financial Advice – FAIS Act Disclaimer

Content provided through this Service does not constitute financial advice as defined in the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002 ("FAIS Act"). The Vault is not a registered financial services provider and does not hold an FSP licence issued by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority ("FSCA").

2.1 No content published through the Service constitutes a recommendation, guidance, proposal, or solicitation to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise deal in any financial product, security, share, unit trust, derivative, or other investment instrument.

Our summaries are a helpful starting point, not the final word. Always check the original announcement before acting on anything. The source document is what counts.

As required by the FSCA, we're letting you know explicitly: artificial intelligence is used in generating content on this Service.

4. Accuracy and Timeliness of Information

4.1 Market data, share prices, and chart data are sourced from third-party licensed data providers. Such data may be delayed, incomplete, or subject to interruption. The Operator makes no warranty as to its accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

4.2 Past performance of any financial instrument is not indicative of future performance. Any reference to historical prices, returns, or financial metrics in Service content is provided for contextual information only.

4.3 The Operator endeavours to publish content promptly following SENS announcements, but does not guarantee real-time delivery. Technical delays, AI processing times, or third-party data provider disruptions may affect delivery timelines.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator, its directors, employees, agents, licensors, and data providers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense of any nature whatsoever — whether direct, indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive — arising from:

• your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any content thereon;
• any error, inaccuracy, or omission in AI-generated content or market data;
• any investment or financial decision made in reliance on content from the Service;
• any delay, interruption, or failure in the delivery of content;
• any unauthorised access to, or alteration of, your data.

5.2 In no event shall the Operator’s aggregate liability to you under or in connection with these Terms exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three (3) calendar months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

6. Personal Information and POPIA Compliance

6.1 The Operator processes your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"). By subscribing, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal information for the purposes of delivering the Service, managing your subscription, and communicating with you about the Service.

6.2 The Operator will not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Information will only be shared with service providers necessary to operate the Service, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

6.3 You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting the Operator at the details provided at subscription.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All AI-generated summaries, interpretations, and original content published by the Service are the intellectual property of the Operator. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use content for your own private investment research purposes only.

7.2 You may not reproduce, redistribute, republish, resell, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without the prior written consent of the Operator. Sharing subscriber login credentials or content with non-subscribers constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

7.3 Underlying SENS announcements and company disclosures remain the intellectual property of the respective listed companies and the JSE. The Operator makes no claim to ownership of source materials.

8. Subscriber Acknowledgements

By subscribing, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• You have read and understood this Disclaimer and Terms of Use in full.
• You are accessing the Service for informational and research purposes only.
• No content on the Service constitutes financial advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to deal in any financial instrument.
• You will independently verify any information before making any investment decision.
• You understand that AI-generated content may contain errors and is not infallible.
• You will consult a registered and authorised financial advisor for personal financial advice.
• You are aware that the Operator is not an authorised financial services provider under the FAIS Act.

9. Amendments and Cancellation

9.1 The Operator reserves the right to amend this Disclaimer and these Terms at any time. Subscribers will be notified of material changes by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9.2 You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

10.2 Nothing in these Terms limits any right you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
